McLaren 570S GT4 Racer Dubbed as the First Entry-Level Racer

MANILA: As heartbreaking as it sounds but not everyone can afford to buy a race car due to the simple fact that they cost a fortune. But with the introduction of 570S GT4 by the legendary British Supercar brand McLaren, the dream has certainly landed on more agreeable grounds at a highly competitive price tag of approx PhP 10.6 million (trust us, this is a pretty affordable price for the car segment being talked about). Labeled as the McLaren 570S GT4, the newest track-ready sports car has been unveiled by the manufacturers with the hope of getting more close to the customers across the globe.

The cheap price tag comes as an absolute surprise for the fans and has come under a lot of speculation from automotive experts who have likened the 570S Racer to be an entry-level racer. When we say entry-level racer, it doesn’t mean that the 570 is any less of a monster. The designers at McLaren have presented the vehicle with a highly stylistic design and butterfly doors making it ready to go toe to toe with anything Lamborghini has to throw. The vehicle derives its power from a 3.8-litre Twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out an enormous 563 hp @ 7400 rpm and is controlled by a SSG gearbox. With such power at your disposal, it might already be clear that McLaren Automotive haven’t compromised in delivering quality, albeit the comparatively lower price than its competitors. It also underpins a brand new platform with carbon-fiber and aluminum intensive parts that provide solid rigidity without adding excess weight.

The all-new 570S will make its tangible presence at the British GT Championship on the 16th of April this year. Last we heard of this British automaker, was when the rumors of developing a supercar with BMW motors were denied by the latter. With stylish design, powerful engine and the emblem of a legendary brand, the McLaren 570S GT4 will certainly be a tough nut to swallow for the likes of Maserati, Aston Martin and Porsche and will help create a new market segment for more affordable racing cars.
