Mitsubishi Teases Next Generation Strada

MANILA: The brand-new Mitsubishi Triton, also known as the Strada, was originally previewed by Mitsubishi Motors through the XRT concept at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show. The 2023 Mitsubishi Strada will go on sale in July, according to a statement from Mitsubishi Motors made shortly after.

The highly awaited pickup's teaser marketing has also started, thanks to the Japanese carmaker. Recently, Mitsubishi unveiled some images of the brand-new Strada. That offered the general public an idea of what the truck will look like when it is fully exposed. But in addition to that, the business also made two films that demonstrated both the makeover of the Strada and the truck in use.

The truck Mitsubishi is displaying the driving characteristics of the upcoming model is the one that won the Asia Cross Country Rally. The Strada can be seen in the video hurling snow, muck, and deep ruts. Also seen in one of the interior photos is the Strada's continued use of the Super Select all-wheel drive system.

The Mitsubishi Strada of 2023 is pictured inside with a larger touchscreen and a fully digital instrument panel. The dashboard of the all-new Strada appears to have a more angular look, according to the video.

The new Mitsubishi Triton will be the star of this year's roster of new vehicles released by Mitsubishi. The Mitsubishi Colt, a hybrid version of the Mitsubishi Xpander, a brand-new crossover vehicle, the previously introduced Mitsubishi ASX, and the Mitsubishi Delica Mini are all part of the portfolio.

According to rumors, it shares a platform with the Nissan Navara. Although images of the brand-new Mitsubishi being tested in Thailand, Europe, and the Arctic Circle have surfaced online, Mitsubishi has not yet provided details on its drivetrain.

The brand-new Mitsubishi Triton will make its debut in Thailand and then be gradually introduced throughout Southeast Asia before being on sale in Europe by September since Mitsubishi is focusing on its growth in that region.
