More NLEX toll plazas converted into 100% RFID

MANILA: NLEX Corporation converted more toll plazas in the North Luzon Expressway into 100-percent RFID lanes for the dry-run of the cashless toll collection.

Among the converted toll plazas are Balintawak, San Simon Southbound Exit, Porac, and Floridablanca.

The following toll plazas under NLEX Corporation are already conducting cashless collection dry run:

North Luzon Expressway

• Ciudad de Victoria Southbound
• Sta. Rita Northbound
• Pulilan Northbound
• Pulilan Southbound
• San Simon Northbound
• Mexico
• Dau Southbound
• Tabang
• Angeles

Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway

• Dolores
• SFEX

NLEX Corporation reminds motorists to reload their RFID accounts for smooth and convenient trips.

The Toll Regulatory Board directed tollway concessionaires and operators to conduct a two-month dry-run on select toll plazas after performing audits on the electronic toll collections of the expressways as part of the Department of Transportation's Department Order No. 2020-12, which mandates that all vehicles using toll expressways must use contactless or cashless transactions.
