Motorists experience first oil price hike of 2023

MANILA: Today, January 3, motorists will experience the first oil price increase of 2023.

Petron, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines, Flying V, Cleanfuel, Caltex, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, and Unioil have all issued advisories that gasoline prices will increase by P2.90 per liter and diesel prices by P2.10 per liter starting at six in the morning. on Jan. 3.

Caltex, Flying V, Seaoil, and Petron also implemented a P3.05 per liter increase in kerosene prices.

A fuel price increase was previously expected to arrive this 2023. The Department of Energy recalled that the net year-to-date price increase in 2022 was recorded at P14.90 per liter for gasoline, P27.30 per liter for diesel, and P21.30 per liter for kerosene.
