New Toyota Innova Crysta & Toyota Vios 2016 being showcased at the Ongoing Indian Auto Expo 2016

MANILA: With the much hyped Auto Expo India 2016, every brand is enthusiastic to present their alluring models on the ramp. In the fleet of these budding upcoming models Toyota exhibited their two cars namely New Innova Crysta & Toyota Vios 2016. Prior to this, Toyota had released its brochure photographs for the 2016 model. These pictures were exclusive in nature and had covered the major details of Interiors, Engine, Safety Features and Trim details. The Innova Crysta was previously launched in Indonesian market last November with the name Toyota Kijang Innova. On the other hand, Vios is still awaited to make noise with its entry in the Expo nearly around the noon today.

This Innova MPV is perceived to be much more efficient than its prior model. It is 180 mm longer, 60 mm wider, and 45 mm taller, however, the wheelbase is similar to the previous model, which measures as 2750 mm. It is equipped with the options of two engines that incorporates a 2.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine and a brand new 2.4-litre GD Diesel engine. The petrol engine is expected to produce 137 bhp of power with a torque of 183 Nm. Furthermore, the diesel engine anticipates to churn 147 bhp power with a torque of 342 Nm for Manual and 360 Nm for Automatic transmission. It has a 6 speed automatic and manual transmission choices. The safety and braking system highlights airbags that are 7 in number, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. Provision of seven airbags will only be available in the top model and twin airbags will be a generic feature in the other models.

With respect to the interior, it has been adorned with premium quality finish that sets it class apart. The infotainment system is in tune with the trending technology, wherein it possesses up to date 8 inch touchscreen system. This system has been embedded with web browsing attribute, Air Gesture, Mircast, Smartphone connectivity, DLNA along with the standard features. This 7-8 seater MPV will definitely prove to be a game changer in the market with its extra ordinary features encapsulated in one model.

The Vios is expected to launch by this afternoon, this model will be making an appearance in the C-Segment sedan. It stands in competition with Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and Honda City. This alluring model is anticipated to be bestowed with standard features of the sedan segment along with some additional ones (yet to be revealed). The Indian version will have an immobilizer and an Eco Meter. The generic safety attributes include dual airbags, ABS, etc. The engines are speculated to be in among the two categories one of which is 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine. Whereas, in the Philippines automotive market Vios possesses a 1.3-litre engine that delivers a max. Power of 85 hp and a 1.5-litre engine churns 107 hp.

Both these hunks are expected to reach the doorstep of The Philippines soon, with somewhat alike features yet with some differentiation in the technical specifications. Toyota has certainly put in dedication and hard work to match the steps of the competitors. Last but not the least the day is not far when it will also create a benchmark for itself in the Philippines auto world too.
