Next to Featured Over the Internet is the 2016 Daihatsu Xenia

MANILA : It seems that the sister siblings Toyota and Daihatsu are moving hands-in-hands once again. With the recent video shots of the all new Toyota Avanza, now its close-mate Daihatsu is all set to bring a look alike car in the market. The internet is once again busted with the pictures and don't confuse these images with that of Avanza, as it is the 2016 Daihatsu Xenia .

The all new Xenia and Avanza are similar looking cars, showcasing the same design language that including mirrored exteriors and interiors. But Daihatsu has an edge over its sister, as it is offering a lot more variants then Toyota. The elder one is offering a 'standard' and 'sports' variant of its new product, while, the all new Xenia will be offered in a bunch of trim levels. To its long list are included Type R Sporty (top variant), Type X Deluxe and Type M Deluxe. In addition to these top-of-the-line variants, some base variants like Type R, M, X, D will also form the part of these extended families.

No major information about its tech-spec is known, apart from the fact that the Type R Sporty will feature a touchscreen head unit, also the Type M will be motivated by a 1.0L power mill. This Type M variant is integrated with the double-blown air con, which will comfort the rear passengers. New reinforced chassis and modified cabin sound insulation will be some of the common features shared by all the variants.

Called the “Great New Xenia”, it surely will give a tough competition to its twin sibling Avanza. Both the cars will enter the Indonesian bays at the same time, as their official launch is scheduled on 12th August. Price tag accompanying the 2016 Xenia will surely bring a smile on your confused faces, as it will be much lighter on pockets as compared to Toyota Avanza.
