Nitto is Great Philippine Overland Loop official tire partner

Nitto Tires Philippines is the official tire partner for the 2023 Great Philippine Overland Loop. 

The automotive tire brand will support the 20-day overland adventure that is set to circumnavigate the Philippines. The event will take place from September 24-October 13, 2023. 

The said overlanding expedition will cover a 6,500-kilometer course and will take participants through eight provinces with six roll-on/roll-off ship crossings. 

A total of 20 4x4 off-road ready vehicle are expected to join the event. 

“This will be an epic journey and Nitto Tires is proud to be part of this momentous event that pays tribute to the beauty of the Philippines, promotes inter-island travel, and boosts local tourism,” Nitto Tires Philippines General Manager Jason Delloso was quoted saying. 

Having been a player in the local automotive tire industry, Nitto Tires Philippines makes for an ideal partner for the 2023 Great Philippine Overland Loop. Its local lineup consists of products like the Terra Grappler, Trail Grappler, and the most-recent addition to the Philippine lineup, the Ridge Grappler. 

The adventures of the participants will be documented by an onboard production team, said Mototesto Overland Equipment Chief Executive Officer Tim Tuason. 

In addition, all raw footage taken during the trip will be made available to all local tourism departments to help promote local tourism. 

Once finalized, the entirety of the adventure will be presented via a coffee table book and a four-part YouTube series.
