Omoda, Jaecoo to highlight 4 SHS-H with Valorant eSports collab

MANILA: Omoda and Jaecoo highlights the all-new Omoda 4 SHS-H by collaborating with Valorant Champions Tour EMEA and Game Changers EMEA.

For the unfamiliar, the two aforementioned are the biggest tournament leagues for the hit online first-person competitive hero shooter developed by Riot Games, Valorant. Valorant Champions Tour EMEA is a top-tier regional circuit, while Game Changers EMEA is the world’s premier women’s competitive league for Valorant. 

According to Omoda and Jaecoo, partnering up with these eSports leagues is their big ticket to becoming more relatable to younger generations. These competitive leagues, after all, are treated as the global home of Gen Zers where they “express their passion, showcase their individuality, and celebrate with like-minded peers.” 

Esports are nowadays also considered by the Chinese car sister brands to be the tip of the spear in youth culture, where trends are set. It is likewise notable that those who rise to the top in the competitive Valorant leagues mentioned above become celebrities among those immersed in gaming and internet culture. 

These, of course, reflect Omoda’s own direction, which is said to continuously push boundaries. The said brand, after all, continues to innovate in terms of design and technology. As such, aligning with something as trendy as these Valorant leagues will aid the marque in identifying the aspirations and preferences of the “new generation.”

Omoda 4 SHS-H

Notably, the Omoda 4 SHS-H recently debuted at Auto China 2026, marking its first-ever appearance. The model is a subcompact crossover that features the brand’s “Cyber Mecha” design language and its Super Hybrid System powertrain technology. 

As previously reported, the Omoda 4 SHS-H uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline mill paired with an electric motor. Altogether, this system can put out 201 horsepower and can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 7.9 seconds. 

When it comes to styling, the Omoda 4 SHS-H emits a youthful vibe thanks to the Cyber Mecha design language. This is evident in the sharply hewn front end of the car, further enhanced by deep-cut angular details and a set of razor-thin LED lighting fixtures.

For now, the brand has yet to share a full list of the Omoda 4 SHS-H’s interior amenities, but it was disclosed that it comes with a “spaceship” center console and a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster. Its central infotainment system is also powered by a Snapdragon processor.
