Omoda, Jaecoo network in PH now 20-dealer strong

MANILA: The network of Omoda and Jaecoo Motor Philippines Incorporated (OJMPI) has reached the 20-dealer mark with the addition of four new facilities located at strategic locations around Luzon.

In a statement, the Chery-owned sub-brands’ local arm noted that the new establishments are in Manila Bay, Fairview, Dasmariñas, and Batangas.

Per OJMPI, the footprint expansion expressed its intent to “dominate the local premium sport utility and crossover segments by securing a presence in the country’s most vital economic engines.”

Here are some notable pieces of information about the latest additions in the Omoda and Jaecoo dealer-network in the country.

New dealerships

Under the stewardship of DC Automotive Philippines Incorporated, the OJ Manila Bay serves as the brands’ first flagship dealership in the country

Situated at the corner Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard and Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue Extension, the facility spans nearly 1,500 square meters (sqm) — almost half of the dealership’s size allotted to becoming a service area.

Meanwhile, Central Auto Resources Incorporated is the one in charge of the dealerships in potential high-growth corridors such as Fairview, Dasmariñas, and Batangas. Here’s what you need to know about the three establishments:

• OJ Fairview (Quezon City): A __-sqm dealership located along Mindanao Avenue Extension.
• OJ Dasmariñas (Cavite): this is a 144-sqm hub at Vista Mall along Aguinaldo Highway,
• OJ Batangas City (Batangas): a 340-sqm dealership within the stretch of the Diversion Road in Alangilan that has a dedicated 200-sqm service area

Further, OJMPI stated that its expansion program is rooted in a commitment to long-term reliability. “By design, a significant portion of the brand’s new infrastructure is dedicated specifically to technical support and maintenance.”

Additionally, OJMPI Dealer Network Development Director Rosello Martin Ayad expressed firm belief that the expansion to 20 dealerships is a clear indicator of the market's demand for OJ’s unique value proposition.
