Hongqi PH teams up with The Bellevue Manila to ensure guests’ ‘luxury mobility’

MANILA: Hongqi Philippines and The Bellevue Manila have inked their alliance that will chauffer guests using two of their premium offerings.

Under the agreement signed last January 23, the Hongqi E-HS9 and HQ9 will be available for the Alabang-based property’s clients. Per the EvoXTerra-steered distributor, the two will guarantee a “composed and refined ride defined by spacious interiors, premium materials, and features suited for milestone occasions.”

Present during the official contract signing were Hongqi Philippines executives David Zaballero David Zaballero (vice president and general manager), Brian Badilla (sales and marketing head), as well as The Bellevue Manila’s John Patrick Chan (managing director); and Justine Dela Cerna (assistant director for group marketing).

In a statement, the Chinese premium automaker’s arm noted that the collaboration is also eyed to further help Hongqi Philippines being the premier luxury choice, “defined by experience, intention, and thoughtful service.”

“Hongqi has always stood for luxury, where design, comfort, and experience come together seamlessly, and we are proud that this partnership allows us to push that philosophy further” President of EVOxTerra and TDG Group Co-Chief Executive Officer Rashid Delgado was quoted as saying.

E-HS9 details

A full-sized sport utility vehicle, the Hongqi e-HS9 is a three-row premium vehicle that measures:

Its distinct exterior features are the two-tone body color and its distinct flashy welcome lights, hidden door handles, and a panoramic sunroof.

Meanwhile, the vehicle’s interior amenities include electronically-adjustable leather seats (with ventilating and massage functions), air-conditioning system with PM 2.5 filter and an air-quality sensor, digital screens (one of which is mated to as much as 16 speakers), and wireless phone charger.

Powering the Hongqi e-HS9 are two electric motors matched to a 99-kilowatt-hour battery that dishes out the following figures:

HQ9 details

On the other hand, the Hongqi HQ9 is a luxury multi-purpose vehicle that tapes in at:

Unlike the e-HS9, the Hongqi HQ9 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain made up of a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 48-volt electric motor, and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

This configuration has the capacity to provide churns of up to 248 horses and 380 Nm of pulling power.

Among its notable exterior portions are the distinct grille pattern, wing of Hongqi greeting light, electronic sliding doors, power tailgate, and the logo lamp at the front. Its cabin comes with heated multi-function steering wheel, 16.2-inch digital central display mated to a Dynaudio sound system (8-12 speakers), and captain seats with ottoman function at the middle row.

The Hongqi HQ9 comes in two variants: Comfortable and Deluxe.
