Inside, the Hongqi E-HS9’s cabin offers a modern, luxurious experience for all passengers with its premium creature comforts and state-of-the-art technology. Like many Hongqi models, its cabin is very roomy, while its trunk offers generous space for your family’s groceries and luggage. The base and mid trims come with plush Alcantara + PVC synthetic leather seats, while the top-of-the-line features Nappa leather seats for elevated comfort at all times. The Hongqi E-HS9 model offers two powertrain options. The top-of-the-line Flagship runs on a dual electric motor setup generating 544 hp of maximum power and 750 Nm of maximum torque. Feeding its electric motors is a 120-kWh Lithium-Ion battery that offers a driving range of up to 515 km. Meanwhile, the base and mid variants run on a single motor that produces 430 PS of maximum combined power (each axle).

This electric SUV comes mated to a single-speed automatic transmission system and offers six driving modes: Long Range, Comfort, Sport, All-Terrain, Off-Road, and Individual.

That said, its electric powertrain offers smooth, instantaneous power delivery off the line. This battery electric SUV utilizes ventilated discs for front braking and regular discs for the rear. Its braking setup is also supported by an electronic stability program.
