Changan PH’s 3-car teaser could include Eado Plus, 4th-gen CS55 Plus

MANILA: Not too long ago, Changan Philippines teased a three-car lineup that the Inchcape Philippines-led company plans to launch in 2026.

Its Head of Sales, Arlan Antonio Reyes Junior presented silhouettes of three models consisting of one sedan and two sport utility vehicles (SUV) in December, during the brand’s intimate thanksgiving party.

Zigwheels Philippines believes that two of these models are the Changan Eado Plus and the fourth-generation CS55 Plus.

The publication was invited by the Chinese car manufacturer’s local arm to tour its headquarters in Chongqing, China.

Here’s a sneak peek at what could possibly be the latest addition to Changan Philippines’ stable.

Changan Eado Plus

The Changan Eado Plus is a clean-looking sedan.

At the fore is a large grille flanked by sharp-looking headlights. It also has a sleek bonnet that complements its sporty chin.

Onto its sides are body-colored appointments with a touch of chrome surrounding its windows. These shiny appliques can also be found on its fascia and rear end.

It rides on 17-inch wheels with 213/50 series tires.

At the back is a sleek boot with what appears to be combination taillamps.

Inside, it boasts leather upholstery and large digital screens that are ever so slightly facing the driver.

Since we have not seen any updates given to the Changan Alsvin, Zigwheels Philippines has a hunch that the Eado Plus could replace the former in the company’s local lineup.

Changan CS55 Plus

One of the two SUVs that was teased in December could be the latest iteration of the CS55 Plus nameplate.

Looking more modern than its predecessor, the spacious five-seater boasts a three-dimensional grille topped by an LED lightbar that extends to the corners of its meshwork.

The lower front bumper has a grille with horizontal slats that look aggressive while still maintaining some level of opulence.

In classic SUV fashion, the Changan CS55 Plus has blacked-out claddings on the wheel arches and side sills. Its side mirrors also share the same dark treatment.

Bolstering its ride height is a set of 19-inch wheels with 225/55 radial tires.

At the back is a sporty-looking spoiler. Its taillamps are connected by an LED light bar with a bumper that sort of mimics the illumination at the rear.

Like the aforementioned Changan Eado Plus, the CS55 Plus has leather interior appointments, large digital screens and a moonroof.

MIAS 2026 launch?

With the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2026 just around the corner, many fans are excited to see the two nameplates make an appearance at one of the biggest auto expos in the country.

MIAS 2026 is scheduled from April 9 to 12 at The World Trade Center in Pasay City.
