PH-retailed Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM now priced at P1.498-M

MANILA: Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) has brought down the pricing of the X70 Lightning i-DM to P1.498 million.

According to Chery-owned vehicle manufacturer’s local arm, the P150,000-slash from the previous P1.648 million is a “direct response to the demands of the Philippine market, where families seek vehicles offering ample space, fuel efficiency to manage rising costs, and modern technology—all at an accessible price point.”

“By repricing the X70 Lightning i-DM, Jetour addresses these needs head-on,” JAPI noted in a statement.

Here’s what the seven-seater plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) — which was first publicly revealed at the Manila International Auto Show 2025 — offers to customers.

On paper, the vehicle has the following measurements:

Propelling the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM are two mills ( 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with two electric motors) that can provide the following numbers:

Acceleration (0-100 kilometers per hour, in seconds)	7.7
Pure electric range (in kilometers [km>)	110
Combined range (in km)	1,200

Among the numerous safety and driver assistive technologies equipped in the Jetour X70 Lightning are:

“Jetour listens, reacts, and acts,” JAPI Managing Director Miguelito Jose said.

“The new price of the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM directly reflects what Filipino consumers have been asking for: A vehicle that combines intelligent dual-motor technology with the space and comfort needed for everyday family life, now more accessible without compromising quality or performance.”

Aside from the price adjustment, Jose hinted that more improvements are coming for its Photo from Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated JAPI's Lightning i-DM series.

Although not sharing full details, he confirmed that an upcoming model will arrive and “create a new niche in the market, combining features, practicality, and affordability in a way that promises to capture attention.”

 “We are not just adjusting prices; we are reshaping expectations. The upcoming addition to our Lightning i-DM series will continue this approach—offering sustainability, practicality, and value in a way that turns heads and meets real needs,” the JAPI executive added.
