Reviving its French Touch, 2015 Peugeot 508

MANILA : Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare yourself as the French have entered the Philippines market, fully prepared to blow your mind away. They have arrived with some impressive set of cars including a mini crossover 2008 and a compact executive sedan 508. Both the cars were launched by Eurobrands Distributor Inc., official distributor and importer of Peugeot cars in Philippines. The Peugeot 508 is a beautiful sedan that will grab your attention with its rich French design language and exceptional looking interiors.

The new 508 is an improved version of its current model, it can be easily predicted by seeing its exterior attributes. The front face of 508 embodies a chrome bordered elegant looking grille, coupled with restyled headlight and LED lighting tubes gives it a visual signature. The black matte finish over the air vents extends towards the chrome lined fog lamps, giving sedan a bold look. The rear encompasses a ‘claw-like’ three-row LED tail light, which does full justice to Peugeot logo present on the tailgate.

Similarly, the interiors of the new 508 look inviting and pleasant. It offers the best of all-round technology, with the all-new information system. Great styling including the red stitching on the seats and doors accompanies the top in GT models. Luxury trim levels include heated front seats giving extra comfort to the driver and passengers. Like its on-going model, it too has a spacious environment with ample amount of leg and head space, making your journey comfortable.

Mirroring the previous generation, the new 508 will be available in two trim levels Allure and GT, the active variant remains limited to the older version. Under the hood, both variants are motivated by different engines. Peugeot 508 Allure will get its power from a 2.0L HDI diesel engine and the powerful 508 GT will run on a 2.2L engine, efficient enough to churn out 204 PS. Both the engines are mated with a dual clutch automatic transmission.
