Subaru Philippines launches the 2016 Subaru Levorg

MANILA: Subaru Philippines is proud to debut its much-awaited wagon, the 2016 Levorg nationwide. Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the authorized distributor of Subaru vehicles the Philippines, has launched the 2016 Levorg at Capitol Commons in Pasig City. The 2016 Levorg is a wagon that looks like inspired from the Impreza. It also gets its name from Revolution (VO), Legacy (LE), and Touring (RG). According to Subaru, the new Levorg is a practical and high performance tourer that offers a stylish design.

“The new 2016 Levorg comes with newly developed engine and generous load space. Levorg has lot to offer in spite of space and design. The wagon is customized for complete family and commercial use.” said Glen Tan, Executive Director of Tan Chong International.

2016 Levorg comes equipped with hexagonal grill and hawk eye headlights in the front accompanied by an aggressive bumper, chrome accents, and a vented hood. The side profile is characterized with sharp design lines with the sloping roofline. The rear part gets a large bumper, sweptback tail lights, a roof spoiler, and a shark fin antenna. Dimension-wise, the 2016 Levorg measures 4690 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, and 1490 mm in height. It also offers a decent boot space of 522 litres.

Meanwhile, the interior comes with a black theme and equipped with modern features and controls like three-spoke steering wheel, easy-to-read instrument cluster, and a multi-touch infotainment system. The seats come with blue stitching. The 2016 Levorg is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder Direct Injection Turbo (DIT) Boxer petrol engine that produces power output of 170 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The 2016 Levorg comes loaded with important safety kits like High Beam Assist (HBA) feature that increase the visibility during night. It also offers active features like Active Torque Vectoring (ATV), rear vehicle detection, and Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC).

Subaru Philippines has priced the the 2016 Levorg at PhP 1,718,000.
