Tetsuya Fujita officially joins Isuzu PH as new president

MANILA: Tetsuya Fujita has been officially welcomed as the new president of Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), taking Noboru Murakami's position.

The ceremony not only introduced the incoming IPC president but also gave Murakami, the outgoing president, a chance to thank everyone for their support while in office. He also voiced his belief that Fujita's leadership skills will propel the business to even greater heights.

Fujita has been working with Isuzu Motors Limited (IML) since 1991 and has extensive experience in sales and operations. His international experience includes serving as the Corporate Planning Manager in Isuzu Commercial Truck of America (ICTA) in California, USA from 2005 to 2010, Sales General Manager in Isuzu Motors International Operations Thailand (IMIT) in Bangkok, Thailand from 2014 to 2017, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in Isuzu Motors de Mexico from 2020 to 2021.

With his expertise in global sales and operations, Fujita embraced the challenge of sustaining IPC's long-standing position as the Philippines' leading truck brand. He aims to accomplish this by expanding the dealer network and strengthening IPC's relationships with its customers. Furthermore, he committed to advancing the Road to Progress vision that Murakami started during his term in order to continue leading the business in a sustainable and environmentally friendly direction.

“As the leading truck brand in the industry, we will continue innovating new products that will assist in the progress of the country while displaying more responsibility to the society and the environment through our Road to Progress vision,” Fujita stated.
