Toyota gives away custom-made activity pages for everyone

MANILA: The enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), which was implemented for two consecutive months to aid in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 in the Philippines, has forced families to stay in their homes. Moreover, being able to adjust to the “new normal” has been one of the concerns during these challenging times.

Thus, Toyota has created a free, downloadable activity e-book to help unleash the imagination and creativity of everyone, even in the safety and comfort of their homes. The at-home activity pack can be downloaded here.

Aside from providing renewed pleasure, these custom-made pages aim to help families have a closer bond since both children and adults can engage in various activities using colored pencils or crayons.

Accomplished activities can be shared on the Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts of Toyota for an opportunity to be featured on one of their channels.

The downloadable e-book contains coloring and activity pages featuring Toyota models such as the Highlander, Land Cruiser, Tacoma, Camry, Supra, Sienna, and RAV4. It also has coloring pages featuring positive quotes such as “Keep Calm and Carry On” and “Stay Positive!”

The activity pack also contains fun and entertaining games involving Toyota models such as Sudoku, Dots and Boxes, and word searches.

In the Sudoku game, each of the nine blocks needs to have all numbers (1 to 9) within the squares. Every figure needs to show once in a box, column, or row. The challenge is that each horizontal nine-square line across, within the bigger square, and vertical nine-square column, needs to have the numbers 1 to 9, with no omission or repetition. Each puzzle only has one accurate solution.

For the Dots and Boxes activity, the person playing needs to have more boxes than his or her opponent. Dots should be connected with lines, and when the player puts the last “wall” of a single box, the box goes to the player. The players take turns, and the game only ends when all the 25 boxes have been filled up. The player having the most boxes wins the activity.

The downloadable activity pack also contains crossword puzzles involving Toyota models and their features as well as some automotive terms.

Solutions to each game or activity can be found on the last few pages of the e-book.
