Toyota PH awards top-performing dealers for 2022

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently conducted its annual Dealer Conference for its nationwide dealership network, recognizing its top-performing dealers for 2022.

TMP also celebrated its milestones during the event, including its achievement of 21st Consecutive Triple Crown for leading the passenger car, commercial vehicle, and overall sales. TMP also achieved a 50% market share for the first time since the brand was launched in the country more than 30 years ago.

“When it mattered the most, we came together as one team with one aim — to stand strong with each other so we could, most importantly, stand strong for our customers. As a result, we were rewarded with their trust and by their smiles. As we celebrate our 35th year in the Philippines armed with the time-honored values of our shareholders, Toyota is more dedicated to doing what we do best — to continue producing happiness,” TMP Chairman Alfred Ty stated.

The President’s Award of Excellence went to Toyota Pasig for Large Business Division; Toyota Marilao, Bulacan, Inc. for Medium Business Division; and Toyota Tarlac City for Small Business Division.

The President’s Customer Satisfaction Cup of Excellence, on the other hand, was awarded to Toyota Batangas City, Inc.; Toyota Nueva Ecija, Inc.; and Toyota Mandaue North Cebu.

Meanwhile, Toyota Balintawak, Inc. received the President’s Value Chain Award of Excellence.

Other awards given at the event include the Toyota Dealer Achievement Award for Overall Performance, Toyota Dealer Award of Excellence for Departmental Performance, and other special awards.

TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto expressed his gratitude to Team Toyota Philippines for its excellent sales performance and dedication in providing the best customer experience as the automotive industry recovers from the pandemic.

“2023 promises to be an even more amazing year,” Okamoto said. “I am confident that with the strongest product lineup in the country, the strongest dealers and, most importantly, the strongest team members and Toyota professionals ever, we will strive to be the best friend of every Filipino. Their trust is the strongest foundation for our future.”
