Taking its care mission one step further, this Japanese automaker has created automobiles for the differently abled persons. This revolutionary thought will help millions around the globe to feel what's it like to be independent, wherein they will not need hands for support all around the clock near them. The all new Toyota Welcab are special utility vehicles that are equipped with facilities supporting this noble thought completely.

Toyota Webcam line-up is set to greet the world at the 42nd International Home Care and Rehabilitation Exhibition, scheduled to take place from 7th to 9th October at the Toyota Big Sight. All the nine models at display will offer different utilities each suiting varied needs. These specially designed vehicles may look normal from the outside, but each is armed with amenities making them thumbs-up transportation means for differently abled(s) and their families.

Rotating and Sliding Seat- The cars are armed with rotating and sliding passenger seats making the entry and exit simpler and much convenient.

Lift-up Front Passenger Seat- The passenger seat comes out of the car automatically, making the getting-out process smooth.

 

Side-access Seat – This one is for the extreme cases, passengers can get in and out of the car without getting out of their wheelchair, as the seat is modified into one.

Side Lift-up Seat – Under this, the second-row seat can be lowered electrically, helping people to get in and out of highly mounted vehicles easily.

 

Wheelchair adapted model – The car is abled with a ramp, allowing people to get in and out without stepping out of their wheelchair.

Friendmatic car – With this, person with dysfunctional legs will be able to drive the car completely with their hands, with essential functions like the brake, accelerator and control arms present on the dashboard.

 

Grip handles and side support pads - These can be fitted on the headrest and other parts making the journey as comfortable as possible.

With these efforts, Toyota aims to bring a smile on the faces of differently abled persons, letting them feel it's their world too and they can live it the way they want.
