VinFast extends reach in Visayas with Cebu South dealership opening

MANILA: As part of its commitment to push its regional expansion strategy, VinFast Philippines has established a dealership in the Visayas region—particularly in the Cebu South area.

In a statement, the Hai Phong-headquartered marque shared that the recently-inaugurated VinFast Cebu South Il Corso serves as an important step for them as it grows outside the National Capital Region and into high-growth areas in the country.

“Cebu, as a major economic and transport hub in the Visayas, presents a strategic opportunity to introduce more Filipinos to sustainable mobility solutions tailored to both personal and commercial use,” VinFast mentioned.

Newly-installed VinFast Philippines Chief Executive Rhomel Franco noted the brand’s vision in addressing the growing demand for sustainable mobility in the country.  

 “As more Filipinos begin to reassess their mobility choices amid rising fuel costs, there is a growing need for solutions that are both practical and sustainable. The opening of our Cebu South showroom allows us to bring electric mobility closer to communities in the Visayas and support their transition toward more efficient everyday transport,” he explained.

For his part, TJ Motors Ventures Corporation Chair Jonathan Cua said that “Cebu continues to be a key market for mobility and economic growth in the Visayas.”

“Through our partnership with VinFast, we are proud to introduce electric vehicles to the local community and provide a more accessible way for individuals and businesses to explore sustainable transport options.”

Ready to cater to customers seven days a week, the VinFast Cebu South Il Corso is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
