VinFast sells over 406k e-scooters in Vietnam in 2025

MANILA: VinFast has sold a total of 406,453 e-scooters in its home country of Vietnam in 2025. The aforementioned figure represents a 473-percent increase compared to its sales figures in 2024. 

For the Vietnamese manufacturer of electric vehicles (EV), success is tied to offering models at multiple price points, addressing customer concerns, providing flexible charging, and offering battery-swapping solutions. 

Notable models sold in Vietnam include the highly popular Evo lineup - the VinFast’s best-selling scooter nameplate. The said model alone lead the charge for the brand with over 250,000 units sold in Vietnam for 2025. 

Other noteworthy VinFast e-scooter models include the Feliz, Klara, Vento Vero X, and Theon. The brand also has license-exempt models such as the Motio, Zgoo, and Flazz. 

“2025 marks a pivotal year in Vietnam’s green mobility transition, as demonstrated by VinFast’s record-breaking sales performance,” Chief Executive Officer of VinFast e-scooter Vietnam Market Hoang Ha said. 

“With the market’s strong momentum, the credibility and quality that VinFast has firmly established, and our breakthrough plans for the near future, I am confident that 2026 will be an even more remarkable year for VinFast and for the future of green mobility in Vietnam,” Ha added.

VinFast in PH: latest updates

As reported before, VinFast will be introducing more passenger car models, as well as its initial lineup of e-scooters, to the Philippine market this year. 

One of its upcoming nameplates is the Limo Green - a seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), that was previously launched for the Indonesian market at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta AutoWeek. 

With regard to the company’s upcoming e-scooter lineup for the local market, no specific models have been announced yet, but their addition to VinFast Philippines’ offerings can help diversify all-electric mobility for Filipino consumers. 

Currently, VinFast’s local arm has 30 dealerships and 34 service workshops nationwide. It likewise plans to establish charging stations across key urban areas to support EV models and e-scooters.
