BYD
The ACMobility-led Chinese car brand sold 13,723 units in the Philippines from January to April.
BYD Cars Philippines also became the newest member of the Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors (AVID), with the company’s Managing Director Bob Palanca sitting as the organization’s Vice President.
Hyundai
Hyundai Motor Philippines Incorporated advanced its Laguluan Tree Park: Ioniq Forest Project.
The initiative is a collaborative effort aimed at long-term forest restoration, biodiversity conservation, and community empowerment in Lian, Batangas.
Through the Hyundai Calamity Assistance Program, the auto manufacturer offered help such as free towing, free vehicle health check, and labor discounts for body and paint repairs.
UAAGI brands
Per the sport utility vehicle specialist, the jump in sales was spurred by a strong demand for hybrid and electric vehicles, which accounted for 93 percent of the brand’s total sales during the January to May 2026 period.
Still under the UAAGI umbrella, Chery Auto Philippines noted that it will open a new dealership in Cebu. The establishment of a new facility will be done in partnership with Pacific Autoworld Incorporated.
The locations will be in Bonifacio Global City and Alabang, respectively.
Ford
At the time of writing, the company that launched a promo for the month of June — within the current period covered by Zigwheels Philippines’ abridged weekly report — is Ford Philippines.
The local arm of the Blue Oval brand extended its Employee Pricing Program through the month, allowing regular customers to get the same perks as Ford employees, such as cash savings, all-in down payment options, and zero-percent interest financing deals on select models.

These electric two-wheelers will arrive in the country next month.
