Being a motorcycle-based for utility purpose, the Yamaha YTX 125 has got robust underpinnings under its minimalist bodywork. The telescopic forks at the front and double coil springs at the rear are strong enough to carry the maximum possible load on the motorcycle with ease

At PHP 49,900, the Yamaha YTX 125 is rated as one of the most affordable motorcycles currently on sale in the Philippines market right now. This is purely meant for those commuter motorcycle riders who want a motorcycle to ride from point A to point B with the minimal load on pocket as possible

The Yamaha YTX 125 is fitted with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 125cc engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 8.2PS and a maximum torque output of 10.2Nm, which considering the very low kerb weight of 114kg, gives it an excellent power to weight ratio

Being a motorcycle purely targeted fir cost-conscious audience, the Yamaha YTX 125 lacks a number of crucial modern features which prevent it from being called a contemporary motorcycle. Except for the presence of an electric starter, the Yamaha YTX 125 is a severely under-equipped motorcycle

The YTX 125 is one of the very few motorcycles in the history of Yamaha which exudes a pared-down fit and finish. While all the components do have a decent build quality by themselves, the uneven panel gaps between them is a bit questionable

The Yamaha YTX 125 is fitted with skinny 3.00x17 tyres at both front and rear, which do make the overall handling and stability under instantaneous braking conditions slightly nervous.
