Skygo Stallion

Skygo has shown no compromise when it comes to making the Stallion look like a proper supermoto. The dual-purpose motorcycle design has been executed very well, and the Skygo Stallion looks ready to take on all kinds of surfaces with its tough-looking persona and tall stance.

The front face of the Skygo Stallion looks quite sharp with the long headlamp unit having a tapered design for both the main headlamp as well as the cowl surrounding it. A long front fender attached just to the chin of the front fascia adds to the rugged appeal of the motorcycle and is tapered from the front.

The side profile of the Skygo Stallion looks busy and full of different design elements, but it manages to maintain a lean profile people associate with a dual purpose supermoto motorcycle. Here, all the design traits, like wide Y-shaped fuel tank extensions for the slim fuel tank, off road-spec tyres with broad treads, spoke wheels, high mounted exhaust pipe and long single-piece seat make the Skygo Stallion look like a traditional supermoto.

The engine, as well as shrouds for the exhaust pipe, has been given a black theme to make the motorcycle look premium. The fuel tank extensions have air vents tucked within them in a stacked manner, which look good with wide knee recesses on the fuel tank behind it.

The rear side body panels, as well as side body cowls, have sharp creases on them to make the motorcycle look agile and sharp. The tailpiece further rises upwards towards the simple looking tail lamp cluster, which also has mounts for the turn indicators on its sides as well. The Skygo Stallion is not a supermoto only by its looks, but it also has a set of mechanicals which are actually sturdy for the mild off-road actions. The motorcycle has been equipped with a set of hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock with rectangular swingarm at the rear for the main suspension unit.

With its long-travel as well as stiff setup, the suspension feels solid to conquer all the undulations and broken patches of the road, but can prove slightly stiffer over smoother tarmac. The motorcycle has been kitted with disc brake setups and 17-inch spoke wheels with tyres having broad treads at both the ends.

Powering the Skygo Stallion is a compact four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 149.4cc engine, which makes it the most affordable 150cc production-ready supermoto in its class. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine of the Skygo Stallion pumps out a respectable 11.7 PS of power output and 10 Nm of torque output.

To make it economically friendlier, the Skygo Stallion has not been heavily equipped when it comes to safety features. The budget-friendly motorcycle skips out on a proper ABS unit but has disc brakes on both the ends as well as a basic engine kill switch.

For its price, the Skygo Stallion comes across as a well-designed supermoto motorcycle for beginners. It does not have that top-notch fit and finish levels comparable to that of the other motorcycles from established bike manufacturers priced similarly to it. However, the motorcycle is mechanically quite sound and manages to impress with its tall stance and rugged design.
