2017 Yamaha X-Max 300 revealed
MANILA: The Japanese bike manufacturer, Yamaha is on a spree to upgrade its line-up. First, it was updated YZF-R6, which was launched a few days back and now it is the X-Max 250, which has been replaced with the X-Max 300. The 2017 Yamaha X-Max 300 will be showcased at the upcoming 2016 EICMA Motorcycle show in Milan. The X-Max 300 has been developed on an updated compact chassis and a new and better 292cc single-cylinder engine with improved performance and fuel efficiency.
The overall design theme of the X-Max 300 is similar to the N-Max and the twin LED headlights, a large windscreen, sculpted front mudguard and clear lens side indicators flushed with fairing all together give an aggressive appeal to the scooter. The X-Max 300 maxi scooter features a single piece step-up seat with a lower back support that adds to the comfort front of the rider. At front, the X-Max 300 has a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers at the back, the 15-inch alloy wheel at front and 14-inch at the rear are controlled by disc brakes and ABS has been made standard for better braking efficiency.
The under-seat space is unmatchable, as the new X-Max 300 can easily accommodate two helmets with some additional space left for the knick-knacks. A charging socket, keyless ignition, traction control, and semi-digital instrument console are some other features of the scooter. The engine of this aggressive scooter is capable of delivering maximum power output of 28 PS at 7500 rpm while the peak torque is rated at 29 Nm at 5750 rpm. The scooter is available in three color options which include Lunar Grey, Milky White, and Quasar Bronze and will be available in the global market by 2017. Even the Philippines market might get the 2017 X-Max 300 by the next year.
