With the achievement of this remarkable feat, all MDPPA members unanimously agreed to aim for a moderate but consistent growth rate of five percent for motorcycle sales from August to December. MDPPA aims to achieve a cumulative sale of 1.6 million units by the end of the year and surpass the already outstanding 1.5 million unit threshold achieved in 2022.

MDPPA did point out that local and global economic conditions are anticipated to have a substantial impact on the projected growth. Slower growth has been caused by factors such as price increases and the COVID-19 pandemic's residual effects, which include supply chain issues and a mix of rise in both in-person and remote work arrangements.

According to MDPPA President Norminio Mojica, the sales results from this year's first semester might be reflective of the results for the next semester.

“Drawing from historical trends, the months of September, October, and November have consistently exhibited heightened sales volumes, whereas the months of August and December have maintained an average profile in terms of monthly sales,” he said.
