Royal Enfield PH releases Bear 650

MANILA: Fresh from the launch of the Classic 350, Royal Enfield unleashed a new motorcycle for the Philippine market.

Named the all-new Royal Enfield Bear 650, the scrambler — displayed at the Makina Moto Expo 2025 — offers styling cues inspired from Checkers Motorcycle Club Eddie Mulder (also known as Fast Eddie), who is the youngest champion to tame the brutal Californian desert race, the Big Bear Run.

Motorcycle specifications

The all-new Royal Enfield Bear 650 is propelled by a 650-Twin engine that can dish out the following numbers:

Maximum output	46.3 horsepower
Peak torque	56.5 Newton-meters

Motociclista Scatola Incorporated shared that the engine’s mill has an increased mid-range punch compared to its other Twin models, thanks to its 2-1 exhaust system that boosts torque and offers a broader powerband, while the compact single silencer reduces weight and adds to the Scrambler aesthetic.

Giving the vehicle its neo-retro look character are the contour seats, chunky tire, kicked-up rear loop, and competition number board that matches the five color options:

• Boardwalk White
• Petrol Green
• Wild Honey
• Golden Shadow
• Two Four Nine (special color edition as tribute to Mulder’s iconic race-winning number.

 Further, the all-new Royal Enfield Bear 650 received a revised chassis, Showa USD big piston front forks (with 130mm travel and rear Twin tube RSU (115mm travel), coupled with 19- and 17-inch wheels.

While it serves as a nod to the old, the all-new Royal Enfield Bear 650 boasts modern amenities such as:

• All-new thin-film-transistor display
• Black aluminum switch cubes and joystick

Packaged with a three-year warranty, the Royal Enfield Bear can be had at the following prices:
