Fit, finish
The Triumph Trident 800 has a modern classic look with sharp, intelligent styling.
At the fore is a circular headlamp topped with a compact fairing that protects the motorbike’s instrument cluster. Its bare front fork (with reflectors on each side) is paired with a stout front fender housing a five-spoke, cast aluminum alloy, 17-inch wheel with a 120/70 tire.

To its side is the eye-catching fuel tank with a 3.7-gallon capacity. It is decorated with the Triumph badge and the Trident nameplate on the black garnish at its sides. Under which is the capable powertrain and radiator.

At the back, the Triumph Trident 800 packs a tapered tail with integrated illumination, a mudguard for the rear wheel, which also measures 17 inches with five spokes in cast aluminum alloy form. It is swathed in a 180/55 tire.
Chassis, suspension
Supporting the Triumph Trident 800’s tubular steel perimeter frame is a 41 millimeter (mm), upside-down (BP-SFF) Showa front fork with compression and rebound damping, as well as 120 mm wheel travel.

Halts and deceleration are facilitated by twin, 310 mm floating disc brakes at the front with four-piston radial calipers with Optimized Cornering Anti-lock Braking System (OCABS).

Powertrain
In betwixt the rider’s thighs is a 798 cubic-centimeter, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder, 12-valve engine mated to a six-speed gearbox with a wet, multi-plate, slip and assist clutch system.
