VinFast e-moto roster
VinFast Philippines’ three-e-motorcycle roster is made up of the Viper, Evo, and Feliz II.
The VinFast Viper, which is arguably the sportiest of the bunch, uses a single electric motor that gets its power from a lithium iron phosphate battery rated at 1.5-kilowatt-hours (kWh) and generates a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour (kph).
A single battery will run to about 82 kilometers (km), and two batteries will stretch the range to around 145 km.
Notable features include a smart thin-film transistor screen with a multi-information display, a smart key system that can remotely lock or unlock the motorcycle, a full-LED light system, and a spacious footrest for a more comfortable seating position.
The VinFast Viper starts at P73,900.
Meanwhile, the VinFast Evo is touted as an ideal ride for those who prefer classic-looking scoots.
Its electric motor is also powered by the same 1.5 kWh battery, but has a range of up to 85 km (150 km on two batteries) with a top speed of just 80 kph.
Beyond the Euro scooter-like appeal, its features include a full LED lighting setup, a decent-sized footrest, hydraulic shock absorbers, and a 4.8-inch LED instrumentation.
It retails for P62,900.
Donning a more muted, everyday look is the VinFast Feliz II. With its electric motor and 1.5 kWh battery, it can travel up to 82 km with one under the seat and up to 145 km with two batteries connected to the motor.
Speed peaks at 90 kph.
Like its stablemates, it has a spacious footboard, shock absorbers, LED lighting, and a color LED display for providing the rider with relevant information.
For what it offers, the VinFast Feliz II will set buyers back some P64,900.
Battery swapping system
To support the expected influx of electric motorcycle users, VinFast Philippines has opened battery swapping stations at its dealerships. The target is to grow the network to 30,000 across the country.
A single swap will cost a customer just P35, and changing the used battery to a fresh one can be done in under two minutes.
