Yamaha Club conducts Tour De Rev in Banaue

MANILA:  Yamaha Club organized the first leg of the Tour De Rev in Banaue on May 18. Yamaha conducted this event in an attempt to unite riders on the roads of the Philippines. It was a three-day activity during which the riders planned to cover a total distance of around 1,000 km.

The activity begins with its Luzon edition. All the riders gathered at the Yamaha Flagship shop, Yzone, which was the starting point for the event. The riders marched from Luzon to Banaue which was a long and enjoyable 13-hour experience. Not just the breathtaking views, the riders were able to feel the full capacity of Yamaha motorcycles during the journey; and that was just Day 1 of the three-day activity.

On Day 2, the riders were in for a visual treat as they cruised amidst the scenic landscapes of Banaue. The magnificently carved colossal rice terraces and pine-lined peaks provided an astonishing view for the riders who took a 12-hour journey from Banaue to La Union, on the west side of Luzon. Here they hung out at the Octane beach.

On the third and final day, the group took the road back to Manila. Some participants from the group resided in Baguio and Pangasinan and they could have taken a separate road to go back to their place, but, they didn’t leave the pack and completed the entire 1,000 km run till Manila. Despite the long ride, no one seemed to be exhausted at the end. On the contrary, everyone was very excited and emotional after completing the ride and were soaking in this unforgettable experience.

The next edition of Tour De Rev will be in the region of Mindanao in July this year.
