All-new Yamaha Nmax now in PH, to be officially unveiled in H1 2025?

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines Incorporated (YMPH) could be firing its opening salvo soon and it will likely be the all-new Nmax.

This is because the brand’s local dealers and agents have started accepting pre-orders for it. The arrival of the much-awaited automatic transmission motorcycle followed its introduction in Indonesia last year.

As such, the Bolt R-Spec BDUB’s formal introduction might be pushed to a later date.

While waiting for YMPH to announce its maxi-scooter’s official launch, below are some notable information gathered about it.

Vehicle specifications

Expected to carry the same dimensions as its counterpart in Indonesia, the Philippine-spec all-new Yamaha Nmax might have the following measurements:

With this, the nameplate’s latest versions could be slightly taller than the outgoing version.

In addition, the all-new Yamaha Nmax will have an updated handlebar design and thin-film-transistor digital display.

Powertrain

The all-new Yamaha Nmax is fitted with a four-stroke, Die-casting Aluminum-Silicon (DIASIL) cylinder, single overhead cam, 155 cubic-centimeter (cc) mill with variable valve actuator mated to a Yamaha electronic controlled continuous variable transmission (YECVT).

For comparison, these are the peak output of the Yamaha Nmax Turbo in Indonesia and outgoing Yamaha Nmax in the Philippines:

• Traction control system
• Rear sub tank suspension

Meanwhile, its host of convenience amenities that will possibly be carried over to the all-new Yamaha Nmax are:
