Every day usability and build quality are cheap
The Honda HR-V is by far the most poorly equipped and the cheapest vehicle produced by Honda. It has disappointed me from the first day itself. From the outside, the trunk has to be lowered and manually lifted, and for a modern vehicle, it is surprisingly heavy. There’s no soft-close mechanism or automatic trunk latch. It makes me feel like I have gone back a decade in terms of convenience. Whenever I have to load luggage or groceries, it becomes a frustrating job. For a reputed brand like Honda, I did not expect this level of cost-cutting.
