Inconsistent power delivery, oversensitive in-car tech

When I first saw the Jaecoo J7 in an automotive magazine, I found it attractive and was impressed by its specifications. However, I also had some perceived stigma attached because of its Chinese origin. I decided to take a test drive of this vehicle and was not so impressed with its ride quality and features. The power delivery is inconsistent at times, and the transmission seems to be hesitant to kick down. The steering seems to be over-assisted and lacks real feedback. In-car tech can be irritating for occupants. The gearbox could be better.
