Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT Latest Update:-
To take on the compact SUV/crossover category with more serious intent, Toyota came up with the all-new third-generation model of the Rush in 2018, which for the first time in the history of Rush came with a seven-seater layout. The Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT is the range starting variant of the three-variant long lineup of the Rush in the Philippines car market.
Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT Price and other variants:-
With a price of PHP 983,000, the Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT is the most affordable and the only variant of the lineup of Rush to feature a manual gearbox. The other two variants in which the Toyota Rush is available are 1.5 E AT (PHP 1,023,000) and 1.5 G AT (PHP 1,100,000).
Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT Engine and Mileage:-
The standard engine in the entire lineup of the Toyota Rush, including the Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT, is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which has been shared with other Toyota models like the Vios sedan and Avanza MPV. The engine, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox here, makes 102 PS of maximum power and 134 Nm of maximum torque.

The Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT is decently equipped for a base variant, with features like LED headlamps, front fog lamps, multi-functional steering wheel, height-adjustable driver’s seat, manual AC with rear AC vents, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 6 speakers, reverse camera, front, side, and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control, traction control, and hill start assist.
Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT Rivals:-
Ever since its launch, the Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT has seen arrival of newer versions of crossover-like MPVS like Suzuki XL7 GLX AT (PHP 1,073,000), Mitsubishi Xpander Cross (PHP 1,255,000), and Honda BR-V 1.5 S CVT (PHP 1,038,000). However, none of the rivals of Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT are available with a manual gearbox.
