Always ready for pleasure or competition
The engine of the Suzuki RM-Z250 runs very well. It has an excellent throttle response and a midrange powerband with less overall power. The clutch seems to be solid. When I forgot to downshift once, I abused the bike a few times and was amazed as I experienced zero fade. Unlike other high-revving 250s, the Suzuki RM-Z250 feels best when I short-shift this bike through its five-speed gearbox. And the responsive cable-actuated and nicely weighted clutch is a good touch. Nicely tapered radiator shrouds and slim seats make it effortless for average-sized people to get comfy at the controls.
