UM Flash

For starters, the UM Flash model line measures 2,015 mm in length, 710 mm in width, 1,005 mm in overall height, and 770 mm in seat height. 

The UM Flash features a vibrant design that looks both sporty and understated. At the front, it sports an angular halogen headlight with blade-like signal lights integrated into its front fairing. This commuter also comes with slim mirrors and a blacked-out front fender underneath.

From the side, the Flash’s profile is defined by a stylish blend of bright branding decals and monotone finishes. It features an engine cover finished in a silver-like shade, as well as 17-inch wheels with body-coloured rims, adding a sporty touch to its overall silhouette on the road. At the rear, it comes with a modern-looking bulb type combination lamp with sharp signal lights.

Complementing its functional character is an analogue instrument panel that provides essential information, including the speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge, among others. You also get a USB charging port for your mobile phone. 

Aside from that, its saddle provides both the rider and passenger with decent cushioning and support, even on longer rides. This two-wheeler is also fitted with a small grab handle at the back, helping make low-speed traffic filters more manageable for the passenger. 

In terms of practicality, its under-seat compartment offers room for smaller riding gear and other important documents. It also comes with front pockets on both sides.

Like other UM models, the Flash is equipped with a hydraulic suspension system that pairs a Telescopic Fork at the front with a Single Hydraulic Shock Absorber at the rear. This semi-automatic commuter scooter feels very light and nimble to maneuver, even through tight traffic and crowded residential areas. It also offers decent absorption of smaller bumps and other minor road imperfections while remaining stable and composed through turns. As previously mentioned, the UM Flash is offered in two displacement options: 110 and 125, with a single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve, air-cooled engine that produces 6.8 to 8.84 hp of maximum power and 7.07 to 9 Nm of maximum torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed semi-automatic transmission. 

While the Flash may not offer the most exciting performance in its segment, it still delivers ample power and torque to get you from point A to point B conveniently and on time. More importantly, its excellent fuel efficiency makes it a practical choice for daily commuting, helping riders keep fuel costs low even with frequent city riding. Ultimately, the UM Flash prioritizes cost-effectiveness and everyday usability over outright performance. 

In terms of safety, the UM Flash is equipped with reflectors, a pass switch, a low fuel indicator, as well as auxiliary smaller side mirrors placed on both sides. This urban bike utilizes a single disc for front braking and a drum for the rear.
