Toyota Motor Philippines refreshed the Corolla Cross nameplate not too long ago. It now sports a more modern look as well as a more eco-friendly powertrain system.

Sleek interior

The cabin of the Toyota Corolla Cross has a sleek — almost modern minimalist — design. It can be seen on the crossover’s plain yet stylish dashboard. In addition, the layout of the physical controls, screens, gauges, vents, and center console are clean and uncluttered.

Adding a touch of opulence to the cabin are leather seats, a leather steering wheel, and a shifter with a leather boot. There are also various brushed metal appointments inside the vehicle, which makes the interior look more suave and sophisticated.

Modern screens

Welcoming the driver is a modern 12.3-inch digital multi-information display. It is complemented with a similarly large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Apple Carplay and wireless Android Auto on top of Bluetooth connectivity features.

The screens not only display relevant driving information legibly but also serve as monitor displaying images for the crossover’s panoramic view monitor.

Adding some level of functionality is a wireless charging dock, switches on the steering wheel, and physical controls for the air conditioning (A/C) unit. Speaking of which…

Cool, comfortable

Keeping its occupants cool is an automatic dual-zone air conditioning system that ensures both those sitting at the front and rear receive proper ventilation, especially during these hot days.

There is one A/C vent at the rear that helps maintain the optimal cabin temperature so the passengers can enjoy riding on the Toyota Corolla Cross on both short and long trips.

Other notable features

The new Toyota Corolla Cross also has six speakers, a power back door with a kick sensor, and a keyless entry system with a push-start button.

Pricing, variants

The Toyota Corolla Cross is offered in three variants (G, V, GR-S) and is priced from P1.498 million to P1.917 million.
