Geely Coolray: A mix of beauty and technology

In choosing the right vehicle, it is important to consider not only the performance and comfort that it brings, but also the look that it projects outside.

Geely believes that “great cars start with great design.” Because of this, the Geely Coolray was meticulously designed by a global team from Shanghai, Coventry, Gothenburg, Barcelona, and California. The vehicle’s striking exterior is emphasized by its so-called "expanding cosmos grille," LED daytime running lights, and dual-color turbine-inspired sports rims.

Even though the Geely has excellently developed Coolray’s exterior look, it did not compromise the vehicle’s performance. Geely Coolray uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection gasoline engine which delivers a power output of 177hp at 5,500rpm and a torque of 255Nm at 1,500 to 4,000rpm, which is paired to a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission.

To provide an easier and more convenient driving experience, this subcompact crossover has been packed with advanced technology features that include a seven-inch LCD instrument panel, automated parking assist system, a 10.25-inch floating infotainment panel, and a remote engine start and keyless entry.

Passengers will surely forget the hassle of long rides as the Coolray gives a premium comfort thanks to its premium leather seats and panoramic sunroof. The vehicle is also equipped with a CN95 cabin air-conditioning filter that does a smart and high-speed purification.

The Geely Coolray further proves its competence as it is also loaded with modern road safety technologies such as a 360-degree panoramic video, turn signal camera, blind spot detection (BSD), and an electronic parking brake and autohold. The vehicle is also equipped with six supplemental restraint system (SRS) airbags for heightened protection for both the driver and the passengers. The Coolray is also constructed with 70% high-strength steel and 20% hot-formed steel for an enhanced collision protection.
