11 Hyundai models bring home 'Car and Driver' awards

MANILA: Hyundai has tied for the most Car and Driver 2022 Editors’ Choice awards, with 11 different models winning for the brand. Editors’ Choice represents Car and Driver’s annual selection of the best cars, trucks, crossovers, and SUVs in the industry — vehicles that the editors would love to have in their garages and would suggest to its readers, friends, and families. The list analyzes the models in the US market and picks the very best.

The Hyundai models that were included in the list for 2022 are the Accent, Elantra N, Ioniq 5, Kona, Kona Electric, Palisade, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Sonata, Tucson, and Veloster N.

In a statement, Hyundai Motor North America Product Planning Director Ricky Lao said, “We are greatly honored to tie for the most Car and Driver 2022 Editors’ Choice awards with 11 models. These 11 models together represent a majority of our lineup and nearly every market segment, and we are pleased that Car and Driver recognizes so many of our models for their collective excellence.”
