EV Love: list of BEV models recognized by DOE

So far in Zigwheels Philippines’ EV Love series, we’ve already listed down all the plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) that are certified by the Department of Energy (DOE). 

Now, it is time to take a good look at all the battery electric vehicles that are recognized by the DOE. 

Of course, this list will include models that are yet to have an official local launch. So for the benefit of readers, these will be marked by an asterisk (*). Also, we have limited the list from the M1 class, as well as pickup trucks in the N2 class. As such, we left out the smaller two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.

Final thoughts

As mentioned before in previous EV Love feature stories, the list above is always subject to change. On that note, missing models that are clearly BEVs could be getting an update to their respective data sheets.
