2015 Vios Cup - Pauland Dumlao Becomes Consistent Top Racer

MANILA: The 34-year old, young and dynamic racer Pauland Dumlao is an enterepreneur by occupation and thinks that it's an amazing privilege to drive for such prestigious event.Presently, he is racing for Toyota San Fernando with car No.-28.

In the 2015 Vios Cup Leg1 (Sporting Class), Pauland Dumlao stood second in the Heat 1 (A class) defeating Andres Calma with the best time of 2:28:177, while the runner up managed to finish at 2:29:529. Best lap was covered by Pauland Dumlao. In the Heat 2 (A Class) which started at 16:08:06), Pauland Dumlao stood first in just 29:10:283. The best time was around 2:27:488. Allan Uy stood second with a difference of 8.579 and best time turned to be at 2:27:977.

Toyota San Fernando's Pauland Dumlao, who also raced in the 2014 Vios Cup, grabbed the second position and won cash prize of P400,000 in the 1st Heat, followed by Andres Calma in third. Luis Gono stood first and won a brand new Vios 1.5GMT and a limited-edition TRD watch. Dumlao was able to cross the finish line before Gono but was relegated to second place due to a penalty.These top drivers had to carry an extra weight of 30kg, 20kg and 10kg, respectively, for the second heat racing.

The 17 year old, teenage driver Andres Calma acheived the fastest lap time. By the third lap, Dumlao and Miranda were at the top and chasing each other for the first position. Dumlao's car was 20 kg heavier than his rival but still he managed to reach the finish line at first place. Miranda was able to finish second but he was demoted to the third place due to penalty and Allan Uy, Who came third was thus promoted to second place.
