MIAS 2026: Toyota Motor PH quietly brings in T-Opt

MANILA: While everyone is busy with new brand and car launches, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) also had its fair share of the limelight at the ongoing Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2026 by introducing T-Opt.

A premium regional aftermarket parts brand, the newest initiative is eyed to address the needs of owners of Toyota vehicles that are already out of warranty.

According to the leading automotive distributor, T-Opt “offers options backed by Toyota expertise.”

“At T-Opt, we believe in providing alternative car parts that are accessible to all,” First Vice President for Customer First and Value Chain Operations Mike Masamayor shared. “Our commitment to providing hassle-free car ownership extends to our customers who own older Toyota vehicles and refuse to compromise on quality,” he added.

Already present in Thailand and Indonesia, T-Opt guarantees affordability and performance by serving the growing market of aging and pre-owned vehicles by giving owners more options to care for the cars they have come to value over the years while helping them maintain vehicle performance, safety, and comfort.

Per TMP, the Japanese automaker is actively involved in the development of T-Opt — from planning stage through supplier collaborations — to help deliver reliable quality at an affordable price point.

T-Opt’s initial lineup for the country covers fast-moving maintenance parts such as oil and air filters as well as wear-and-tear parts such as wiper blades, brake pads and shoes, and clutch covers and discs for the following Toyota models:

• Vios
• Wigo
• Innova
• Avanza
• Hiace

“TMP will continue to develop T-opt parts to meet the growing needs of its customers,” Masamayor said.

Further, T-Opt will start selling products on Monday (April 13) through Aerodynamics Commercial Corporation, HD Trucks, Guthrie Marketing, LCG group of Companies, Motech, and Autoquix Outlets.
