2025 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival set this weekend

MANILA: This year’s Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival (AFSTDF) is set to take place later this week.

In an announcement, the Sunshine Television-led firm said that the four-day event will be held on May 8-11 at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds. Admission is free.

Per STV, the returning annual affair — presented by Falken and held in cooperation with BPI Auto Loan — will serve as a “summer highlight for automotive enthusiasts and potential car buyers alike.”

The participating brands that will join the 2025 AFSTDF are the following:

• BYD
• Ford
• Honda
• Hyundai
• Isuzu
• Jaecoo
• Kia
• Morris Garages
• Mitsubishi
• Nissan
• Omoda
• Suzuki
• Toyota

Said to be the largest outdoor automotive event of its kind in the country, the festival creates a unique opportunity for prospective buyers to find their next vehicle in a comfortable and accessible environment.

“Whether you're a first-time car buyer or looking to upgrade your vehicle, the Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival offers an unparalleled chance to check out, test drive, and compare the latest models and variants from a diverse range of global automotive brands, including American, European, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese options,” STV shared.

Aside from that, the festival empowers potential buyers to discover and compare the best deals available as they can explore the various exclusive discounts and financing options offered by participating brands.

Started in 2005, the event transitioned to an outright test drive event in 2014.

In an interview, STV President and Chief Executive Ray Louis Gamboa is inviting the public to check out their preferred vehicles at the upcoming event.

“Started by my dad, the late great Butch Gamboa, his vision was to help the Filipino consumer to have a better feel of the cars they test on one accessible venue instead of going from one dealership to another,” he told Zigwheels Philippines.

"I thank every brand manufacturer for joining this event in giving the Filipino consumers more freedom to choose their car and experience firsthand comparisons,” Gamboa added.
