2017 Haval H9 launched at MIAS 2017

MANILA: In order to refresh its SUV lineup, the Chinese automaker, Haval has introduced the 2017 H9 at the MIAS 2017. The all-new Haval H9 is much bolder, wider and aggressive when compared to other models in the respective segment. The three slat trapezoidal grille with chrome finish give a bold look to the SUV while the broad, slightly rounded headlights with DRLs give elegant and dynamic appeal.

 

The side profile is plain and subtle, which looks nice on the chunky body of the SUV while the rear profile gets vertical taillights with inverted C LEDs integrated into it. The rear spoiler with stop brake light on the top adds a pinch of sportiness to the 2017 Haval H9. In the cabin, comfortable seats, high-tech configuration, and rich entertainment system are carried forward from the previous version while the refinement in the materials and design gives a fresh appeal.

 

Under the hood, the Haval H9 houses a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder inline four stroke, water-cooled, common rail, turbocharged diesel engine which gives a power output of 160 kW at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 324 Nm at 2000- 4000 rpm. The particular model is offered with 6-speed automatic transmission and 4WD system.

Haval has also focused on providing state-of-the-art safety measures in its premium SUV and the all-new H9 is equipepd with all-round airbags, electronic stability program, hill descent control, hill-start assist control, and auto hold+electronic parking brake (EPB).
