GWM PH gets more local industry vets to join team

MANILA:  GWM (Great Wall Motor) Philippines has appointed two veterans in the local automotive industry that will form part of its growing leadership team.

In a statement, the company said Jude Racadio and Vincent Marquez have joined the Luxuriant Automotive Group-led automotive distributor.

“This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its market presence and further gearing up for an exciting second half of 2025 and beyond,” the firm noted.

Racadio’s credentials

Now serving as the GWM Philippines Sales Director, Racadio brings with him his expertise in the fields of manufacturing, parts planning, inspection processes, as well as sales and marketing.

GWM shared that the latest member of the team rose from the ranks — earning notable positions such as a production manager and becoming a national sales director in his previous role.

Under his new role, Racadio is set to man the company’s sales operations as well as dealer development initiatives aimed to bolster sustainable growth and competitiveness in the market.

Marquez' qualifications

Joining the team as the GWM Philippines Deputy Director for Training and Product Planning, Marquez is known in the industry for creating training programs focused on product knowledge and sales techniques for automotive dealerships.

“His expertise will play a vital role in shaping GWM Philippines’ training and product planning strategies, ensuring that both dealers and customers benefit from enhanced product awareness and service excellence,” the firm said in a statement.

Meanwhile, GWM Philippines Brand Head and Marketing Director Daximilian Avenido said that the appointments mark another step forward for GWM Philippines as they continue to build a strong and capable team.”

“Both Jude and Vincent bring valuable industry knowledge and proven track records that will help us accelerate our growth and reinforce our commitment to delivering world-class vehicles and customer experiences to the Filipino market,” he added.

Further, GWM Philippines expressed firm belief that the acquiring Racadio and Marquez will help them reach their goal of being one of the leading automotive players in the country.
