    Last month, the company achieved the Excellence in Business Transformation honor at the HR Excellence Awards while its chief executive officer (CEO), Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, was hailed as the Most People-Focused CEO.

    In March 2025, the Employees’ Compensation Commission commended ACMobility for its Return-to-Work Assistance Program supporting Persons with Work-Related Disabilities (PWRD).

    “These recognitions affirm that transformation begins with people. By building a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and growth, we empower every ACMobilizer to bring their best selves to work and to our customers. This is what makes our movement real and what will carry us forward as we shape a sustainable mobility ecosystem,” ACMobility Chief People Officer Ariane Nava was quoted as saying.

    For his part, the company chief said that the recognitions are only the beginning of a broader journey.

    “Being recognized in our first full year of transformation reflects the dedication of our people and our commitment to redefining mobility and reshaping the experience. At ACMobility, transformation is not just about business, it’s about empowering people, creating sustainable solutions, and leading the way for the industry,” he noted.

    Since it was rebranded, ACMobility has grown its business and people agenda.

    The organization grew from 1,370 in 2023 to more than 1,600 by mid-2025, with a target of reaching 1,700 by year-end — driven largely by the expansion of the BYD brand and the Mobility Infrastructure Group.

    Notably, ACMobility was the first automotive company in the country to be certified as a Top Employer for 2025, affirming the global competitiveness and sustainability of its people-first strategy.

    Aside from the Chinese new energy vehicle marque, ACMobility also distributes Kia and Volkswagen vehicles locally after AC Industrials end the distribution partnership with Maxus.
