All-new BAIC B40e rEV Trailmaster now in PH

MANILA: After being seen over numerous social media accounts, BAIC Philippines made its official announcement that the all-new B40e rEV Trailmaster has officially arrived in the country.

In a statement, the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated-led automotive distributor shared that the sport utility vehicle’s plug-in hybrid version features electrified performance, extended range, and true off-road capability for modern Filipino lifestyles.

The company said that the all-new BAIC B40e rEV Trailmaster is made for those who love to spend their free time exploring, camping, and creating memories beyond the usual routes.

Here’s what the model is ready to provide its customers.

Vehicle specifications

Powering the all-new BAIC B40e rEV Trailmaster is its Advanced Range-Extended Electric Vehicle system — a plug-in hybrid setup that lets it cover more than 1,200 kilometers (km) and run on pure electric mode for 152 km (based on China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle standards).

The model’s newest generation keeps its off-road roots by continuing to have a body-on-frame structure and four-wheel-drive system. This is complemented by its vehicle-to-load capability, which can power outdoor essentials using a pair of 220-volt outlets with up to 2.2-kilowatt output.

Meanwhile, its modern cabin is equipped with following creature comforts:

• Two 12.8-inch screens (center control display and a passenger screen
• 12-speaker Infinity sound system with DSP
• In-car air intelligence system that helps maintain a cleaner cabin environment

Further, BAIC Philippines noted that the model is fitted with a suite of driver assistive and safety technologies

Priced at P2.888 million, the BAIC B40e rEV Trailmaster can be had in the following interior and exterior tones namely:

The said price tag is packaged with the following warranties:

• Five-year or 150,000 km bumper-to-bumper warranty
• Five-year or 150,000 km high voltage battery warranty
• Three-year roadside assistance

“The All-New BAIC B40e rEV Trailmaster Plug-in Hybrid off-roader represents more than just a new model. It reflects how Filipino families travel today, balancing daily responsibilities with the desire to explore,” BAIC Philippines claimed.

“It is a vehicle that fits into both city life and weekend escapes. One that allows families to drive farther, stay longer, and experience more. At its core is a simple but powerful image: a family on a road trip, arriving at their destination with everything they need, ready to relax, connect, and enjoy the moment,” it added.

As mentioned in an earlier report, the model will likely be seen at the Manila International Auto Show 2026 set this week.
