Bentley spreads yuletide cheer with teddy bear collection

MANILA: This Christmas season, Bentley is offering four adorable new bears that are built to last and be passed down from generation to generation, just like the brand’s automobiles.

The Special Edition Signature Bear is accessorized for formal occasions with a gray and green double-ribbon necktie and an ear tag bearing the Bentley logo.

Meanwhile, the Engineer teddy bear, which represents Bentley’s own motorsport boffins, with their white and green overalls and matching cap. The suit has a working pocket with three felt mechanical tools sewed in: a wrench, a screwdriver, and a spanner.

There is also the Heritage Racing Bear that took inspiration from Sir Henry Birkin, one of the Bentley lads who won the Le Mans 24 Hours in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The bear wears a polka-dot scarf borrowed from the British racer. It also has racing goggles, a bomber jacket, and a rakish suedette helmet.

Lastly, the Cosy Knit teddy bear is the baby of the family, with a matching knit jumper and bobby hat that features the Bentley wings insignia and a diamond design woven into the knit that is evocative of the brand’s renowned craftsmanship.

Each bear comes in a 100-percent cotton, Bentley-branded dust bug. The Engineer, Heritage, and Cosy are priced at £65 (approximately P4,400) each, while the Signature costs £80 (approximately P5,400).
