Exclusive up-to-date safety features introduced in 2019 Daihatsu Altis

MANILA: The all-new Daihatsu Altis is now loaded with many safety features. Highlighting amongst them is the Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS). Also, included in the revised safety kit are pedestrian detection, active cruise control, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring. The upgraded Altis comes with modernized safety features and sharp exterior design. 

ICS is just another form of autonomous emergency braking that means if an obstacle is detected by the system, the brakes will be automatically applied for enhanced protection. This is expected to reduce the number of road accidents. For any obstruction, the ICS oversees both the front and rear of the new Altis.

The all-new 2019 Daihatsu Altis is powered by a new hybrid system that consists of a 2.5-inline-four D-4S direct injection and an electronic motor. A maximum power of 178 PS and 221 Nm of torque is solely generated by the engine. The electric motor, on the other hand, produces 120 PS and 220 Nm of torque giving the driver a powerful yet economical ride.

As the 2019 Altis comes with all the modern day features, the automatic remote-controlled folding side mirrors aren’t a surprising addition. These mirrors come with LED turn signals and heat up when needed as well. This makes up for clear visibility while driving.

Another attraction of this Daihatsu Altis is the new hue on the exterior called the Emotional Red II. The color was seen first on the Toyota Camry. This tincture cannot fail to attract eyes and will surely turn heads.
