Festivities, Promos in Store for Customers as Toyota PH Celebrates 35th Anniversary

MANILA: In honor of its 35th anniversary, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) expresses its gratitude to all of its customers who have helped it become the market leader in the country.

For its anniversary celebration, TMP prepared special activities and promos in line with the theme “Creating Happiness in Mobility.”

“We dedicate this celebration to the generations of Filipino Toyota customers who have embraced the Toyota brand and became Toyota’s brand ambassadors. To thank our customers for this milestone and to give them a glimpse of our exciting future together, we are treating them to exciting and unforgettable activities this month to kickstart our 35th year,” TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto stated.

TMP is kicking off its anniversary month with a bang by introducing a new nameplate. The launch of the all-new Yaris Cross HEV, positioned by TMP as its “most affordable hybrid electric vehicle yet,” is expected to usher in a new era of electrification.

TMP is introducing the all-new Yaris Cross at its “Go Electrified with Toyota” event, where it will also be displaying its impressive lineup of electrified sedans, MPVs, and SUVs, making these electrified cars available for public test drives and reservations.

This event, which features 35 electrified Toyota and Lexus vehicles in one place, takes place from August 4 to August 6 at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater in Taguig City.

“We believe in giving our customers the power of choice, that is why we advocate for a multiple pathway approach to achieving carbon neutrality in mobility. Widespread adoption of electrified vehicles is one of those paths and we are glad to give the public accessible and practical electrified vehicle options,” Okamoto said.

Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Akio Toyoda, known as Morizo when competing in motorsports events, will also visit Manila this August to headline TMP's Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival (TGR Fest).

The TGR Fest will bring together auto enthusiasts to celebrate the thrill and joy of driving Toyota vehicles. It will take place on August 23 to 24 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. With the goal of gathering the largest collection of GR cars in one location, this festival is anticipated to serve as a grand meetup of TGR drivers and fans.

TMP is also offering special anniversary deals at all its dealerships nationwide throughout the entire month of August. Customers can take advantage of the promos offered on Filipino favorites such as the Hilux, Fortuner, Vios, Innova, and more. Discounts and free value chain offers will be given to those who purchase any of these select models this month.
